The big parade.

Crashing the big parade.

I'm home.
I feel a little out of place, I'm slowly getting to know the new things and traditions in our home. The new leather chairs, the huge ugly television that I still can't figure out how to turn on. The missing coffee pot replaced by the power juicer and the new obsession my family has with organic, healthy food. The big Tulip Time parade made me feel more at home and more like I was in the place I belonged...thank-you Tulip Time, you've never disappointed me, except for that one time it was snowing, that was disappointing for sure.

  1. Sarah,

I'm glad you got home safely and that you got to go to Tulip Time. My mom and I were almost going to to go the Cabbage and Potato Festival in Hastings (a town which I think is about an hour south of here)but it was too hot... it's probably not anything near as cool and fun as Tulip Time. Actually, it is definately not as interesting as Tulip Time, I've never been to the Cabbage and Potato Festival but I know for a fact that Tulip Time would be more enjoyable.

I wanted to send you the links to two blogs that I think you will like.

This one is from a lady at my church: http://nanwilcox.blogspot.com/
She IS a Real Simple lady but she would never tell you she is. She can build things, she has a beautiful garden and home, she sews, she dresses cute too! I don't know how her cooking is though...

Here's the second one, this is the blog of the above lady's daughter:

Both of them are so sweet. I think I want to be like them when I grow up.
